A 6-Hour Foundational Course in Artificial Intelligence
Developed and certified by:
Digital Diplomacy International (DDI)
Welcome to AI Foundation for Everyday Life and Workplace. This intensive workshop is designed to demystify artificial intelligence and empower you to confidently integrate modern AI tools into your daily routines and professional workflows. Rather than focusing on complex coding or technical jargon, this course prioritizes practical, hands-on application. You will discover how generative AI can streamline administrative tasks, accelerate content creation, enhance data-driven decision-making, and automate repetitive office procedures. Beyond operational efficiency, the curriculum tackles essential considerations surrounding AI ethics, data privacy, and prompt engineering strategies. By the end of this workshop, you will possess a strategic understanding of how to safely and effectively leverage AI as a collaborative partner to boost your productivity, creativity, and competitive edge in the modern workplace.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain what AI is in plain language and name at least five AI systems they already use.
- Write clear prompts using a four-part structure (Role, Task, Context, Format) and improve a weak prompt through iteration.
- Use an AI assistant to draft emails, letters, study notes, quizzes, business messages, and plans in Nepali or English.
- Verify an AI output using a three-step check before relying on or sharing it.
- Recognize common AI risks: hallucination, bias, privacy exposure, deepfakes, and misinformation.
- Produce one profession-relevant output (the capstone) and commit to one specific AI use within seven days.
